My Favorite Faces

100 posts. I have now blogged 100 times. 100 is a big number so I decided to make this post personal. It doesn't get more personal then when I blog about my favorite two little faces.

Here are a few pictures of my babies turning 6 months and three. All I can say is that they are my life;s greatest loves and they are amazing.

Love you little boys of mine.

Panama

For Thanksgiving this year we spent two weeks in Panama with my Husbands sister and her family, who live there as AG missionaries. It was our first time to this country, and we were blasted by its sticky heat the moment we stepped off the airplane! One week was spent in Panama City, the other at a beach house on the Pacific coast in Coronado, which is where my nieces senior pics took place. We were able to see a lot and visit a few places in the two weeks we were there. I loved, looooved the tropical plants and some of the old architecture we saw in a spectacular old, yet up and coming part of Panama City! You can bet I got a few pictures there!

So here they are, a few pictures from our trip! It only took me three months to post them. Starting to think we went at the wrong time though! I could really use a break from this snow and cold NOW!!!

The next two pictures were at Panama Viejo, the old ruins in Panama City.

The following beach pics were at Playa Serena, lots of black sand and seashells to go arround.

Of course we visited the Canal.

The next two were taken in a little village called El Valle, way up in the mountains. We almost didn't survive the windy trek!

A view of the City from the restaurant we were at arround dusk. The coconut rice was soooo addicting!

The rest of the pics were taken at Casco Antiguo, or Old Panama. This was my favorite leg of the trip. Tons of culture here along with some new and old.

Enjoy Life!

New Year New Look!

Over the past couple of weeks I have been making some very needed upgrades to my brand. I am SOOOO happy to say they are finally done! It was a lot of work, very time consuming, and like everything else in life the unexpected showed up uninvited! :) Make sure to take the time to check out all my new updates!

I thought it appropriate that my little guys face should be the first to grace my blog and face book in the New Year. Here a few random pics from his 2 year photo shoot, and Christmas.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

Our Resident Monkey

Clients always get a little nervous when their kids don't like to cooperate for me. Let me put everyone at ease when I say I live with the most difficult photographic subject on the planet! I always like to check a new location out before I schedule any sessions there, and Noah is usually stuck being my guinea pig!

When we got to the Sunflowers he hit the ground running, and pretty much didn't stop until we left. My poor husband tried to get him to stand still for just a few shots for me but he would have none of that. So I got into position, waited, my husband set him down and I said Hi Five! Well I got a shot and a Hi Five, the reason for the hand in the air! So when I say my kid is the hardest kid to photograph ever......... I'm not joking!!!

Not the greatest shot but I LOVE my Monkey!

All it takes is bubbles!

It's been way to long since my little man has graced my blog with his adorable little grin. You could say getting pictures of him lately has turned into a daunting task. He will sit still for nothing and no one. When visiting the fam, he insisted on getting into Nana's sink for a bath, and she was happy to oblige! He refused to get out for the longest time, and when we finally made him, his fingers and toes had turned into raisins. I guess from now on I will just have to put him in a tub if I want him to stay in one place for pics! Oh the possibilities with bubbles......................

Appreciate YOUR World

Sometimes life is all about perspective, and learning to appreciate what we have. Beauty can found just about anywhere if you take the time to look.

Brilliant Sky

I was supposed to be at the balloon fest to get pictures of the balloons this weekend. But of course they didn't seem to want to float my way, it had been that kind of day! I was starting to get a little disappointed but that quickly changed when the skies turned orange! I snuck away to pick up my camera and was met with one amazing view! I think most would agree Sunsets like this are pretty spectacular.

Moments

Moments. They are the little pockets of time that form the histories of our lives. How are you living yours? This entry was waiting to be published on Friday, and in the midst of a Life interruption the short story I wanted to share has taken on a whole new light.

About a week and a half ago we were going about our usual house cleaning and my husband accidently knocked my wedding bouquet off its perch. I watched in anger as a chunk of it crumbled on the floor. I will openly admit, I was really MAD! I yelled at him as I think any normal woman would. It was my precious bouquet from my wedding day and I had a right to be angry! He should have been being more careful, right?? As I was picking up the pieces my oh so symbolic poetic mind started working. Why was this bunch of dried flowers so precious to me?? The answer, was the Man that had clumsily knocked it over. Without him what would a dead bundle of flowers matter to me? After that each petal I picked up felt like a representation of the pieces of my heart. They are held together with Chad glue. Without him my life would fall to pieces.

Friday morning my Husband called me to tell me he had been in a very serious car accident. I was instantly on an emotional roller coaster. By the grace of God he walked away unharmed. Looking at the car that shouldn't have been the case. I am so overwhelmed with gratitude that he is here with me and our little boy, that I can't express it enough! I just keep thanking God for the blessing of more time. More moments.

Now maybe you can see the significance as to why this post is so meaningful. As most people know, Love and Pride cannot sit at the same table. So love harder, cherish longer, and squeeze tighter what's really important in Life. Live every moment as your last.

A BIG thank you to everyone that was there to help and support us!

My Lifes Loves

I consider myself a very lucky girl. The best parts of me are the two you see here. These pictures were supposed to be of just Noah, but he had a case of the terrible two's after about 15 minutes of being at Thorndon Park. As you can see no smiles! I was glad to finally get some pictures of my boys together, that is not an easy task, BELIEVE ME! I do heart and treasure these priceless moments of them, and I guess we will be trying again soon to get the 18 month pictures done!

Niagara Falls Canada

It has now been five years since my husband and I said I DO. It hardly feels possible that it has been that long. It has been a happy love filled journey and I feel so lucky to be head over heals in love with this amazing man, and also getting to spend every day with my best friend. It dosen't get better than that! For our anniversary we snuck away for the weekend for some much needed rest and relaxing. Life can be downright exhausting at times! We booked a room at Kilpatrick Manor B&B and let me tell you, this place is nothing short of fabulous. We loved everything about it. Our room was luxurious perfection, the house beautiful, and the breakfasts?? Let's just say Kevin's amazing cooking turned us into breakfast snobs! If you're thinking about going to the Falls stay there! You will be so glad you did! Kevin and Nance are spectacular hosts!

There is so much to be loved about Niagara Falls. There are Starbucks on every corner, corny fun activities, food galore, and breathtaking scenery with views! I was in photo heaven the entire weekend. We did the usual mumbo jumbo around Clifton Hill, then spent the majority of the weekend sampling the local festivities and admiring new destination's. We are planning on  making this an annual visit, so come next April you will know where to find us!
