Our Resident Monkey

Clients always get a little nervous when their kids don't like to cooperate for me. Let me put everyone at ease when I say I live with the most difficult photographic subject on the planet! I always like to check a new location out before I schedule any sessions there, and Noah is usually stuck being my guinea pig!

When we got to the Sunflowers he hit the ground running, and pretty much didn't stop until we left. My poor husband tried to get him to stand still for just a few shots for me but he would have none of that. So I got into position, waited, my husband set him down and I said Hi Five! Well I got a shot and a Hi Five, the reason for the hand in the air! So when I say my kid is the hardest kid to photograph ever......... I'm not joking!!!

Not the greatest shot but I LOVE my Monkey!

............. And some MORE at the Sunflowers!

So are you all sick of seeing photo's done at the Sunflower patch yet? Not me! Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers, they just make me happy. Kinda hard to get sick of something that does that! They were short lived though. That's the one thing that bugs me about flowers they never last long enough!

I had a brother and sister duo shoot there last week and let me tell you these kids were rocking some awesome head pieces! Made me wish I could get my son to wear a hat for once in his life! I don't care what age you are, what type of photo's you are getting, bring on the accessories! They add a new level of interest and dynamic to the photo shoot. The end result? See for yourself..........

A new style of texture editing I am working on learning and perfecting.
More of the texture editing.......
............ and more.
Another creative edit, again using texture overlays.

More Sunflowers

The Camillus Sunflowers are fast becoming one of my favorite summer locations. The huge gorgeous bursts of yellow made for some great backdrops and were just pretty to look at. Of course no matter how pretty the place, its always the kids that make the photo. Check out this bunch of cuties!

I adore the head piece! Good job Mom!!

Sunflowers

What's sweeter than a couple of little girls in pretty sundresses playing in a maze of sunflower's? Can't think of much!

Camillus is home to one amazing maze of sunflowers! If you haven't been there yet, go! The maze will be closing very soon as the flowers are almost done with their bloom.

Happy Monday!
