A little Pumpkin

I skipped a few sessions with this little blog post, but I wanted to share these so our family could see some more of this sweet little addition. 

Congratulations Dad and Mom, he is one sweet tiny peanut! Love this little pumpkin!

Apples

Fall is my favorite time year. It always seems to creep in with some kind of mysterious quality that yields apples, pumpkins, sweaters and good comfort food. I love everything about this season! It means Christmas is on its way and I can get my Pumpkin Spice latte's! Only Panera's will do, sorry Starbucks. 

I wanted to incorporate a little fall into each of my sessions to make them more festive.When this family choose this location, I couldn't think of a better prop then some apples. They made for a yummy snack too!

Caribbean style....... well almost!

Perhaps one of the hardest most intimidating things a photographer can do, is to photograph another photographer and their family. Lets just say my butterflies must have been drinking Red Bull prior to this shoot! Meet Mindy, the owner and photographer from Itsy Bitsy Creation! Mindy and I had met a while back when I photographed her tiny newborn son, who is now over a year. We kept in touch and our corresponding increased when she started her own business. She is a fabulous fellow photographer, friend, and someone who also speaks my language to a T. I had so much fun stylizing her shoot with her, and just about died when we set up her Tepee! One of my favorite props ever! Period. 

We the Nichols family were very excited to have her do our family pictures later that same month. I will be sure to post a few pictures from our session sometime soon.

2012 Grunge

Senior girl take two for today. Two blog posts in one day is some kind of new record. It was another trip to the square with this girl, but this time instead of just using the locations natural elegance, we sought out the grunge that Miss N was looking for.

She wanted edgy and she rocked it!
